NEW MOUNTAIN PEAK MARKER: Broomfield outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a new view finder nestled on the patio under security cameras of the brick building near the water towers where Kohl St. turns into 136th Avenue. The peak identifier names a swath of 50 mountains and canyons, including some mountains of the Continental Divide and Indian Peaks Wilderness Area and other familiar Front Range gems. From Rosalie Peak standing tall at 13,575 feet in the Mt. Evans Wilderness Area all the way north to stunning 11,260 foot Signal Mountain, the viewfinder includes many Colorado favorites.
